Boardroom shuffule at Bovis sees departure of group operations director Stephen Brazier.

The group operations director of Bovis Homes has resigned after a boardroom reshuffle. Stephen Brazier left on Friday after three years at the company. Bovis Homes has promoted two of its employees to the board and is currently recruiting for another director.

Michael Black has been appointed group production and quality control director. Bovis said his promotion would add structure and support to the customer care requirements of Bovis. Black was previously the build director in the South East region

Alastair Thomas has become group commercial and strategic land director. Bovis said the appointment would enable greater exploitation of mixed development opportunities. Thomas was previously the property development director at Bovis.

Bovis is also looking to employ a group corporate systems director, who will be expected to deliver “increased efficiencies” according to the firm.

Bovis made the boardroom changes after reviewing how it would deliver the predicted growth of volume over the coming year. In a trading statement issued last month t said that it expected to see 8% growth in selling prices over 2003 and a 25% increase in reservations over last year.
