Bristol Zoo has submitted a planning application for this animal sanctuary on the northern edge of the city.

The £70m National Wildlife Conservation Park, from architect White Design, would cover 55ha. If approved, construction is expected to start in March 2010 and finish in 2012. Buro Happold is structural engineer.
