BDP-masterplanned project will include a four-star hotel, conference venue and education centre

Commercial property developer Bruntwood has been named as preferred developer on a £60m scheme for Manchester Business School, part of the University of Manchester.

The project will comprise a four star hotel, conference venue and executive education centre.

Construction on the first phase will begin next year, and will see the hotel and conference centre developed.

The second and third phases will provide new teaching and administrative homes for the school’s MBA and Executive Education programmes, while the final phase will include a resources and learning centre.

BDP has been involved at the masterplanning stage, but the project’s professional team has yet to be announced.
