Building calls for expanded public private partnerships programme

Funding the Future report cover

A forthcoming report from Building’s Funding the Future campaign will urge the government to significantly expand its proposed public private partnership programmes beyond healthcare facilities and decarbonisation projects.

The final report of Building’s Funding the Future campaign will call for the government to radically expand its proposed use of public private partnerships to pay for social infrastructure beyond that currently envisaged.

The report, entitled How private finance can rebuild the UK, says an expanded programme is necessary in order to spark the investment in industry capacity needed to deliver schemes efficiently.
