AIM-listed consulting engineer Weeks Group is looking forward to a busy second-half clearing up after the recent bad weather.
Chairman Alan Weeks said a large amount of ground failure-related work, increased demand for flood-damage surveys and the acceleration of investment in roads and railways would bolster its workload for the period. Pre-tax profit for the six months to 30 September 2000 were 32% ahead of last year at £628 000. Turnover was up 9% to £8.6m.
