Firm will provide health and safety consultancy for Great City Attractions
Capita Symonds’ leisure and event health and safety team has been appointed by the operator of giant observation wheels Great City Attractions to provide health and safety consultancy across its global portfolio.
A team will be working on wheels at a number of UK locations including Weston-Super-Mare, Windsor, Belfast, Manchester and Stoke, as well as a number of international destinations which are currently in the planning stage.
The wheels in GCA’s fleet range in size from the R40 design up to the 165m Singapore Flyer which is currently the world’s largest.
All wheels feature fully enclosed, air-conditioned and heated capsules ensuring passenger comfort, regardless of the weather.
The company has plans to launch a new record-breaking 208m high wheel in Beijing late next year.
