Arundel Street mixed-use project includes office, retail and 72 student flats

Arundel Street, a mixed-use scheme in Sheffield designed by Cartwright Pickard, has been granted planning permission.

Victorian buildings in the £3m development will be remodelled to provide retail units on the ground floor and office space above.

The scheme, which is located in Sheffield’s cultural industries quarter, will involve the development of a 72-bed student accommodation block.

In keeping with the original street layout, the new buildings will be built around a central courtyard.
