Gateshead council has produced a planning brief for a development on Gateshead Quays.

The proposed scheme on Hawks Road and South Shore Road would include shops, hotels, pubs and tourist attractions as part of the second phase of the quays’ redevelopment. A public consultation will run until 14 November.
