Developer Opal Property Group has unveiled these images of Chettles Yard, its £50m student accommodation scheme in Nottingham.

Contractor Ocon Construction has just started work on the project and is due to finish by 2011; the first phase is to open next year. The development, which will house 1,000 Nottingham university students, will be powered by biomass boilers burning locally sourced woodchips. This is the 14th time the contractor and developer have worked together.
