Developer CLS Holdings has taken a 25% stake in a new London-based construction and project management consultant.
The new firm, Skansen, will take on all of CLS Holding's project and construction management work but is also looking to work for other developers and commercial tenants.

Skansen, which was launched last month, said it was aiming for a turnover of £2.5m this year. It is currently working on five projects, four of them for CLS Holdings.

Skansen is offering clients open-book accounting, agreed levels of profits and shared rewards and savings. Director James Pack said: "While we're working almost exclusively for CLS at the moment, we are targeting other developers to offer exactly the same service. The service we're offering is different to what's already out there, so we needed a key business partner to launch the business and establish a track record."

The business currently has five staff and is working in the Greater London area. Skansen has free rent for two years from CLS Holdings as part of its start-up deal. It has already produced a customer commitment charter, which outlines its KPIs.
