Urban Splash reveals shortlisted designs for Walsall site
Developer Urban Splash has unveiled seven shortlisted designs for the redevelopment of a canalside site in Walsall. The designs were picked from 130 entries in the competition, and the winner will be announced in August.
The shortlisted designs include works from FLACQ and Featherstone Associates, moh Architects, Jacobs Architecture, Kirkland Fraser Moor, Woods Bagot, Piercy Conner Architects and Type O. An exhibition of the shortlisted schemes, along with all other entries, will be held at The New Art Gallery Walsall on 9-12 August.
Advantage West Midlands, Walsall Council and Walsall Regeneration Company are also partners in the scheme, which is on a site located next to a scheme that includes designs from SMC Alsop, shedkm and Feix & Merlin.
