Glidevale has launched a combined unit for delivering natural ventilation and daylight into commercial and domestic buildings

The 250mm-diameter Sunscoop roof-mounted glazed dome reflects daylight down a tube through the roofspace or ceiling into the room below. Natural passive stack ventilation is provided by separate ducting which is controlled depending on humidity levels to provide ventilation in accordance with Part F of the Building Regulations.

Research by the Silsoe Research Institute shows the 250mm diameter Sunscoop yields up to four times more light than a 60W bulb. Sunscoop is also recognised by BREEAM.
