Reid Architecture has unveiled the first images of a landmark air traffic control tower at Edinburgh Airport for BAA Scottish Airports. The 57 m high tower is to be located on a main access road and will have a car-free zone around it to safeguard against potential terrorist bomb blasts. M&E and structural engineer is Arup, landscape architect is Ash, QS is Doig & Smith and bomb-blast consultant is TPS Consult.
