Social housing and maintenance specialist recruits Robert Alcock and Caroline Price as non-executive directors

Social housing and maintenance specialist Connaught has appointed two new non-executive directors.

Robert Alcock has been non-executive director at Capita Group for 12 years and chairman of Capita's Audit Committee from 1993 to 2005. He is also senior non-executive director and chairman of the audit committee at Huntsworth.

Caroline Price was finance director at TBI (now owned by Abertis), between 1995 and 2005. Between 1985 and 1995 she spent ten years at PricewaterhouseCoopers in both the audit and corporate finance practice.

Connaught also announced today that Tony Williams will step down from the board due to professional reasons and that Andy Darkin will be retiring from the board.

Mark Tincknell, chairman, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Robert and Caroline to the board as the group moves from its AIM listing to the Official List. Their wealth of knowledge will complement the board's existing skills set and we look forward to working with them in the future.”
