FM Consultancy group Connaught has increased pre-tax profit 25.7% to £22m and has a record order book of £48m, it reported this week. Preliminary results for the year to 31 August 2000 show the group enjoyed a 42% increase in turnover to £77m.
Chairman Robert Henry said each of the group's core divisions of property services, interior services and facility services were well placed to achieve further growth.

The firm recently acquired property maintenance firm Retail Building Services in an attempt to increase its facilities division.

The firm intends to develop opportunities for e-commerce following its acquisition of Claimserve, a claims management firm with web facilities.
