Morgan said: “Civic’s ambition to grow, and its care for people and place, align perfectly with my own belief that the built environment should transform lives.”

Civic’s chief executive Stephen O’Malley added: “As we enter the next phase of Civic’s growth, it was a natural step to review the diversity and expertise of our board.”

“Sadie brings fresh energy, expansive thinking, diplomacy and a rich pedigree of effecting positive change.”

Civic, which began as Civic Engineers in 2013, employs around 200 people from six offices including London, Manchester and Dublin.
