The four-year framework will be divided into seven geographical lots. Interested firms will be able to bid for any number of lots.

The winning firms will act as main contractors and designers and will also carry out extensions, surveys, external fabric works and office and welfare refurbishments.

The framework will be open to all polices forces across the North-east and Yorkshire and Humber, plus fire and rescue services in the Yorkshire and Humber region and the Yorkshire Ambulance Service.

Bidders have until 11 March to express interest, with the contract expected to start this July.
