WS Atkins' £100m PFI win
A team led by consultant WS Atkins has been picked as preferred bidder for a £100m schools PFI project in Merton, south London. It will include the refurbishment, extension and maintenance of six schools.

Skanska hooks up with Nortel
Skanska subsidiary Skanska Konnect has become a preferred partner in a deal with telecoms group Nortel Networks. It will involve the takeover by Skanska of 76 Nortel employees and the firm's UK build operation.
