Military academy scheme gets underway in Wiltshire.
Service company Serco and its principal construction contractor Costain have signed a contract with the Ministry of Defence for its Defence Academy Campus Integrator project in Shrivenham, Wiltshire.
The contract, worth a potential £80 million is to create an international academic centre of excellence for senior military and civilian personnel by integrating its three existing post-graduate education colleges.
Costain will be responsible for the management and integration of the design and build phase of the project, which in total is worth approximately £400 million.
