Turner & Townsend, Mouchel Parkman, Mott MacDonald, Drivers Jonas and Hurd Rolland to provide cost consulting services

Turner & Townsend, Mouchel Parkman, Mott MacDonald, Drivers Jonas and Hurd Rolland have been appointed to HM Courts Service’s consultants’ framework.

The three-year agreement will be to provide cost consulting and project management services for courts in England and Wales.

Mott MacDonald was part of the team that built the £100m Manchester Civil Justice Centre designed by Denton Corker Marshall, the largest commission ever undertaken by HMCS. It is also assisting the architect with a courts project in Birmingham.

Other projects are planned in Aylesbury, Manchester, Gloucester and Sunderland, and a further seven are at the procurement stage in Aberystwyth, Bristol, London, Isleworth, Liverpool, Salisbury and Warwick.

The five firms were also on the previous courts framework, which covers consultancy work for county and magistrates’ courts of every size.

Drivers Jonas partner Mike Cuthbert said: “We’re delighted to have been reappointed to the HMCS framework. Our combination of property and construction skills means that we are well placed to help HMCS.”
