Irish building materials group CRH has expanded its European and North American operations.
The firm said it had invested £226.6m in extending its materials and distribution activities in Poland, Finland, the Netherlands, France, Belgium and the USA.
CRH chief executive Liam O'Mahony said that expansion would provide a sound basis for future growth.
