Deadline for expressions of interest is 28 September for two packages on £16bn transport scheme

Tenders are expected to be invited in November and contracts awarded by the middle of next year. The deadline for expressions of interest is noon on 28 September. Successful contractors will also work on a tunnel segment manufacturing facility, Crossrail said.
