The mixed-use Q building in Stratford, east London, has been completed. It was designed by Buckley Gray for Imperial Developments, and includes 27 one and two-bedroom apartments, all with external terraces. Four floors of apartments sit above a restaurant and bar.

The building uses a combination of timber, glass, aluminium and dark concrete blocks to form its layered exterior facade. The design maximises daylight while maintaining privacy. The QS was Gardner Cann Partnership, the contractor was Durkan Pudelek, the structural engineer was ADS Associates and M&E engineer was Engineering Design Consultants.
