The e4i group reaches financial close on school scheme for Inverclyde Council

A consortium including consultant Cyril Sweett and contractor Miller Construction has sealed the deal on an £80m PPP schools project in Scotland.

The e4i group, which also includes Land Securities Trillium and FES, said it had reached financial close on the scheme for Inverclyde Council.

The project will see the four firms design, construct, finance and operate two secondary and two primary schools.

Construction of the primary schools will begin immediately, with completion expected in early 2010, the consortium said. Work on the secondary schools is expected to begin next summer and complete in 2011.
