Daren Harris appointed as new FD at Byrne Group

Byrne Group has appointed Daren Harris as its new finance director to replace Philip Wainwright, who has left to join Willmott Dixon.

Harris, who took up his role in November, was previously group finance director at NG Bailey.

He is responsible for finance, information technology and Company secretarial activities at Byrne Group, reporting to group chief executive Michael Byrne.

A chartered accountant, Harris has also held senior financial management positions with US-owned defence contractor, Raytheon Systems, and Serco.

Willmott Dixon announced the appointment of Philip Wainwright, who had joined Byrne in March this year, earlier this week.
