Davis Langdon cost consultant on zero carbon home

Consultant Davis Langdon has provided cost and project management services for a zero carbon home being exhibited at Offsite 2007.

Lighthouse, which features Kingspan building components, is the first home to achieve the Code for Sustainable Homes Level 6, the new standard to which all new properties need to be designed and constructed by 2016.

The consultant worked alongside Sheppard Robson, Arup and MacFarlane Wilder on the scheme.

Davis Langdon is also launching a new service later this year to provide clients with personalised assessment of the carbon emissions associated with specific projects.

Offsite 2007 runs from June 11 to 14 in Watford.
