Davis Langdon has recruited two legal directors from Northcrofts Management Services: Chris Ennis and Richard Edwin.

Ennis, the managing director of Northcrofts, was retained as a quantum expert in the dispute between Multiplex and Cleveland Bridge over Wembley.

Edwin is a civil engineer who specialises in delay analysis.

They join Davis Langdon’s 20-strong legal support team in London, which has worked on a number of high-profile disputes, including the Mirant vs Arup case.

Rob Smith, Davis Langdon senior partner, said the team was likely to have a £4m turnover in the current year. He said the aim was to more than double turnover by 2012, raising it to £8.5m.
