Team of 28 raise £25,000 for cancer charity CLIC Sargent in gruesome race at army barracks

Consultant Davis Langdon has raised around £25,000 for leading children’s cancer charity CLIC Sargent after taking part in the Grim Challenge.

A team of 28 completed the army assault course with graduate cost manager Steve Ford putting in the fastest time of 1:09:26.

The Grim Challenge consists of an 8 mile race around the very muddy Aldershot training barracks assault course, involving running, crawling and wading through waist deep water.

Partner James Clark said: “It was an early start and shocking weather but the whole of the team finished and there were some truly epic performances put in by all.

Most importantly, we managed to raise a good sum of money for a deserving charity in the process, thanks, in no small part, to the overwhelming generosity of our clients, fellow colleagues at Davis Langdon and our many friends in the industry.”
