Four former directors of Morgan Sindall's regional contracting business are staying with the group, despite missing out on seats on the board of the restructured business.
Phil Brand and John Berry are to become regional managing directors of Bluestone, the new company and brand formed by the merger of Morgan Sindall's six regional contracting businesses.

Bluestone managing director Chris Saxton said Brand and Berry would lead the central and south-west regions respectively. Allan Haigh is to head up Bluestone's Farnborough unit and Paul Baxter is considering another position in the company.

All four directors met with Morgan Sindall executives last week to discuss their futures after only two regional heads, Julian Brandon and Keith Watson, were promoted to Bluestone's board.
