Property tycoon Donald Trump has unwrapped proposals for an exclusive golden-clad 75-storey development in India.

The Trump Tower Mumbai has been designed by WOHA and is set in a development that boasts a 3ha private park with extensive sports and leisure facilities.

Trump said the scheme, being developed in partnership with Lodha Group, was the fulfilment of a long-held desire to build in the city, which is India’s most populous, and would bring “uber-luxe” services to residents.

Lodha Group managing director Abhishek Lodha said the tower would “redefine” the city’s skyline.

The development also includes low-rise residential development, leisure and retail schemes, and makes provision for future tower blocks.
