Lee Polisano, the founder of the UK arm of US architect Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF), left in September to set up his own firm PLP Architecture

With him, he took five partners, about seven directors and about 40 staff – something like a third of the original KPF London office. Oh, and a few key projects, including the Heron Plaza, a hotel project related to the Heron Tower in the City of London (pictured).
