Sound Interiors – for its contract at Grand Arcade, Wigan

Sound Interiors supplied and installed British Gypsum straight and curved wall linings, upstands, MF ceilings, GRG feature work and construction of pilasters to create this striking shopping mall.

Working to heights in excess of 14m and integrating with many other trades over a demanding timescale, this project was delivered on time and met the specific design criteria of achieving a U value of 0.35 to all mall walls.

Architect Leach Rose Walker also received an award.

Roskel Contracts – for its contract at Carrick Golf Club, Loch Lomond

The total package consisted of drylining, partitioning and MF ceilings to the clubhouse, restaurant, saunas, showers, changing rooms and rest rooms.

Acoustic values of up to 60dB, moisture-resistant and corrosion-resistant materials were used extensively. The installation was to exacting standards, including 500+ access panels, numerous ceiling furniture items, curved features and floating stairs, as well as semi-external ceilings for relaxation areas.
