Contractor Durkan Group will begin work on this £15m affordable housing scheme in East Road, Hackney, this month.
The scheme, designed by architect Cartwright Pickard for housing association the Hyelm Group, will provide accommodation for 125 key workers and young people on low incomes. The scheme includes two large communal roof terraces, which will have striking views across the London skyline. The development consultant on the scheme is Red Loft Partnership; Hunters is the quantity surveyor.
