Emcor Group appoints Christopher Chater-Poole as managing director of Emcor Facilities Services.

Specialist contractor/ engineer Emcor Group has appointed Christopher Chater-Poole to Managing Director of Emcor Facilities Services, its FM arm.

Chater-Poole has worked for EFS for more than 15 years, and in this time has held several key positions, including UK operations director and has been performing the role of acting managing director since mid 2005.

Chater-Poole said, "We are looking forward to further expanding our service offering to the UK FM industry. I am also personally very proud of our client base. We will continually look for ways to more effectively service our clients and hope to further strengthen these relationships in 2006 and beyond."

Chater-Poole will lead over 2,500 employees in five operational business units at locations throughout the UK.

EMCOR has also recently appointed Graham Tracey to the new position of director for special projects within the facilities services business. He will work closely with the Emcor Group (UK) operating companies - Emcor Facilities Services, Emcor Engineering Services, Emcor Infrastructure & Rail Services and Emcor Energy Services - on both business development opportunities and other FM integrated projects within the UK and internationally.
