Killed quartet were working for Norfolk specialist Hazegood Construction

The employer of four builders crushed to death by falling steelwork on a site in Norfolk has been named as Hazegood Construction.

Peter Johnson, 42, brothers Thomas Hazelton, 26 and Dan Hazelton, 30, and Adam Taylor, 28, were killed while working below ground on foundations for an extension to local firm Claxton Engineering.

Dan Hazelton is named as a founder of Hazegood Construction on the firm’s website.

The four men were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident last Friday.

A joint investigation by the Health and Safety Executive and Norfolk constabulary has begun into the accident.
