Support services group will pay £7.5m upfront for Strategem and Structural Change Consultants.

The support services company Enterprise has snapped up contract management group Strategem Group for £12m.

Enterprise is to pay £7.5m in cash and will pay another £4.5m in Enterprise shares or cash depending on Strategem’s performance over the three years ended 30 April 2008.

Enterprise chief executive Jack McGrory said: “This is an excellent acquisition, which will allow Enterprise to gain critical mass in the consultancy market.”

“The acquisition delivers core skills in delivering business support, a strong management team, and new local government and private sector clients.”
