Chris Foster promoted to MD, Garry McBride becomes company chairman of the concrete firm

Derbyshire concrete firm Evans is to undergo a management reshuffle in the light of its recent ‘success and growth’.

Current commercial director Chris Foster is to move into the role of managing director from October, replacing Garry McBride, who is also moving within the firm, becoming company chairman.

Evans claims that the recent securing of several highline contracts and the maturing of the company has created the need for the changes. McBride said “We’re undergoing some key changes, but this is very much an evolution of the business as opposed to a revolution. I’m delighted to hand over the reigns of MD to Chris Foster.”

The developments come as Evans begin work on their biggest contracts to date, including a £900,000 project in Leicester and the new multi-million Floral Hall development in Southport.
