Sustainability Now exhibitor 'offers vision for a sustainable future' at its stand

Schüco Clean Energy² System Technology has been developed as a whole-building solution for a sustainable future. It takes in Schüco’s range of highly insulated facades, windows and doors in both aluminium and steel, its large louver external shading systems and its rapidly expanding range of solar energy products including state-of-the art photovoltaic systems.

Schüco’s solar offering includes Compact Line, straightforward hot water systems (including purpose-designed copper storage cylinders) powered by highly efficient solar panels, which are suitable for both domestic and commercial applications and Premium Line. The latter is aimed at the commercial market – including local authorities and housing associations – and marries solar panel technology with photovoltaics to enable a building to generate its own energy.

The acme of Schüco’s Energy² model – ‘saving energy, generating energy’ – is to be found in the company’s new E² façade which makes use of photovoltaics, solar thermal transfer, thermal insulation, solar shading and controlled ventilation with heat recovery and offers, in addition, decentralised air-conditioning and a high degree of automation.
