Nearly completed Terry Farrell and Partners-designed tower in Phnom Penh wins best commercial development in South East Asia

Vattanac tower - Farrels

A Terry Farrell and Partners-designed 188m tower located in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, has won the prize for the Best Commercial Development in South East Asia at the second annual South East Asia Property Awards, which took place in Singapore recently.

The high rise is close to completion, and it will be the tallest building in the country.

Designed as an iconic landmark with a strong Cambodian identity, the fluid shape of the tower evokes images of a dragon’s back, symbolising good luck and wealth.

It’s situated on the busy Monivong Boulevard, a major north-south route through the capital and is centrally placed with excellent transport connections.
