British architects Feix & Merlin and Karim Muallem make list of five

Five up-and-coming architects have been shortlisted to design a semi-permanent pavilion for Marks Barfield’s Lightbox gallery in Woking.

British architects Feix & Merlin and Karim Muallem have been shortlisted for the Art Fund Pavilion alongside French practice IN & EDIT, Greek architects AREA and American architects Tina Manis Associates.

The winning entry, due to be announced on 6 April, will be engineered and constructed by Facit, a company that specialises in advanced pre-fabrication and computer design techniqes.

The competition has been run by East London design festival Tent London in association with the Architecture Foundation.
