Defence Infrastructure Organisation invites five firms to bid for £65m project to expand Beacon Barracks in Stafford

The Ministry of Defence’s estate arm has invited five firms to bid for a £65m project to expand Beacon Barracks in Stafford.

The Defence Infrastructure Organisation said around 360 new homes are planned at the Staffordshire barracks for military personnel and their families returning from Germany.

The £65m project includes new homes, landscaping and utilities services supplies.

The five shortlisted bidders are:

  • Seddon
  • Lend Lease
  • Lovell Partnerships
  • Mansell
  • Thomas Vale
