Former Bluu and Interior Services Group boss Matthew Giles has joined project management firm Rowney Sharman
Giles, who was managing director of Bluu City, a subsidiary of office fit-out and FM contractor Bluu, started work as London director last week. Before joining Bluu, Giles was sales and marketing director at Interior Services Group. He was also a founding director of Exterior, an arm of the contractor.

Giles said his role would include business development. He said: "The firm is looking to penetrate the market more effectively. I came here to help grow their business."

Rowney managing director Stewart Rowney said that he was delighted Giles had joined. He said: "With Matthew's experience in developing and managing relationships with major customers, we are confident the firm will achieve our ambitious growth targets over the next five years.

Rowney Sharman was set up in 1995 and has offices in London and Ascot, Berkshire. The firm works in the commercial, retail and residential markets. Clients include Astra Zeneca, Pillar Property and Berkeley Homes.

The firm's highest profile scheme was the £20m Electronics Arts headquarters in Chertsey, Surrey, designed by Foster and Partners, which was opened in 2000.
