Work by Lend Lease expected to complete on the 12,000 seat Scottish Hydro Arena in 2013
Work by contractor Lend Lease is continuing on the £125m Scottish Hydro Arena in Glasgow, designed by Foster & Partners. This bird’s eye view was taken from the cabin of the tallest crane on the site, which is next to the city’s Scottish Exhibition and Conference centre. The 12,000 seat arena will host large events and will be a key venue for the Commonwealth Games in 2014. Work is expected to complete in 2013.
