Schueco’s window is ideal for highly insulated residential or commercial buildings

Schueco has launched an aluminum window frame called AWS 90.SI. The system is designed to be used with triple-glazed units. The company says that the window is ideal for use in highly insulated residential or commercial buildings.

The company says that it is possible to achieve a U-value of 0.8W/m2K in a frame depth of 90mm with the inward opening window system. It adds that possible configurations range from a tilt turn opening to floor-to-ceiling window cladding. Schueco adds that profiles can be colour-coated or anodised, with different colours on the inside and outside faces if required.
