Contractor to build three hotels in Surrey, Berkshire and Oxfordshire as well as student flats in London

Contractor Galliford Try has won four hotel and housing contracts worth £82.8m.

The firm has been appointed to build a 186-bed Radisson Hotel in Guildford. The scheme, which also includes 38 apartments and an underground car park, is expected to complete in 2011.

The second contract, worth £28m, involves the redevelopment of the Coworth Park Estate in Sunningdale, Berkshire. The project will involve rebuilding the existing manor house, stable blocks and estate cottages to create a 68-room luxury hotel, restaurant, spa and swimming pool. Completion is expected by May 2010.

Galliford Try has also secured a £16.8m deal to redevelop the Heythrop Park resort in Oxfordshire for the Firoka Group and an £8m contract to build a seven-storey student accommodation block in London for Infrastructure Investments.
