Gateway 2 sign-off for 46-storey co-living tower in Canary Wharf

Rio Architects-designed scheme the largest co-living project to be granted construction approval by the BSR

Rio Architects’ 46-storey tower in Canary Wharf has been granted gateway 2 consent, becoming the UK’s tallest co-living building to pass the planning hurdle.

The 56 Marsh Wall scheme, designed for housing developer Olympian Homes, will contain 805 co-living studio apartments, with an average unit size of 24sq m.
