Jason Farnell has left his job as commercial director of GB Building Solutions to become a partner in risk management consultancy CR Management

He was previously a board director at Bluestone and PFI development manager at John Laing.

Farnell said: “My intention is to broaden the range of services offered by CR Management still further, enter new markets and provide outsourced business management services.”

Meanwhile, Persimmon has appointed Jeffrey Fairburn as an executive director.

Fairburn, 43, has worked at the company since 1989. He became north division chief executive in 2005.

John White, Persimmon’s chairman, said: “Jeff will strengthen the management team on the board.”
