Housebuilder Gleeson Homes and developer Westport Developments have won a competition to develop the grade II-listed Leopold Street area of Sheffield.
The street will be converted into a mixed-use development, including a hotel and apartments, and a public square to link the city's Orchard Square to the city hall.

The square and the apartments will both be designed by Axis Architecture. Further details on a value for the scheme are expected to be released next week.
