Scheme at Loughborough Park Estate designed by BPTW given green light

Planning permission has been granted for a £70m housing development in south London by Countryside Properties and The Guinness Partnership.

The re-development of the 1930s Loughborough Park Estate will see construction of 116 new homes designed by BPTW Architects in its first phase and will bring its existing housing up to today’s standards.

Raj Upadhyaya, group investment director of The Guinness Partnership, said: “This is good news for residents in the area, bringing to an end years of uncertainty about the future of the estate. We look forward to working closely with residents and our partners to deliver these new homes which will be bigger than the current ones with more modern facilities.”

Countryside Properties and the Guinness Partnership will provide a training programme for local people in construction and retail roles to support the project.
