Mixed use development in South London will be completed by summer 2009

Residential property developer Grainger has been given the green light by Lambeth Borough Council for a £60m project in Clapham.

The mixed-use development on Macaulay Road in South London, will provide 97 apartments and houses, including 32 affordable units, and 31,000sq ft of office space.

Led by contractor McClaren Construction, the development will be completed by summer 2009.

Managing director of development at Grainger, Andrew Scrivener, said: “We’re delighted to have achieved this important milestone in the project and look forward to delivering an exciting and modern scheme that will add significant value to this already established location."
